Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor to share screen in Anurag Basu’s next film: Source

According to recent sources, Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor may share the screen in an Anurag Basu film.

After the Sanju actor had a cameo part in Khan’s PK, a source told Pinkvilla that the stars would collaborate in a film with a two-hero script.

The insider said, “Anurag Basu is trying to develop a screenplay for Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. While AKP (Aamir Khan Production) came up with the fundamental premise, Basu came on board to write the screenplay with the in-house cast.”

“The movie is in a very nascent stage at the moment. The duo of AK and RK will decide on doing it only once they are absolutely satisfied with the final output,” added the insider.

“It’s a high-on-VFX project, and thus an extremely risky proposition,” the portal continued. Being the perfectionist that he is, Aamir wants a visual blueprint of how the film would appear.”

“If everything falls into place, the film will start shooting next year,” the person added. “Right now, it’s in its very early stages, with the two actors agreeing in principle to collaborate on one of India’s largest cinematic events.”
