Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s Thadam remake gets a title

For the first time, Mrunal Thakur and Aditya Roy Kapur will collaborate on the Hindi version of Thadam, which was released in Tamil in 2019. The crime drama, based on true events, stars Mrunal as a cop and marks the first time the actor has played two roles.

The Fitoor actor finished the first schedule of Thadam’s remake and will start the second today, alongside Mrunal, who has started the second schedule in Mumbai, and Ronit Roy, who will be joining the shoot soon. Vardhan Ketkar directs the film, which Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani produce.

Aditya said, “The original film was incredibly riveting and entertaining, and it left a lasting impression on me.” “I’m getting a chance to play a double role, which means double the preparation and challenge,” the Aashiqui 2 actor remarked.

Mrunal added, “My character is very intriguing, and playing a cop has been on my checklist. This will be a distinct role from all the characters I have played until now, and I am looking forward to audiences watching this one.”
