Emraan Hashmi, Alia Bhatt’s cousin, is making some very angry statements about her now-husband, Ranbir Kapoor, in a video circulating on the internet for a while now.
Ranbir Kapoor married Alia Bhatt in a small ceremony last week in front of only close family and friends.
They also found an old video in which Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh and her cousin Emraan took shots at Ranbir Kapoor. A video from a long time ago has been shared on social media. It shows the two sitting on a couch on a talk show.
The show “Koffee with Karan” is known for celebrities making controversial statements during the “Rapid Fire” segment. One episode of the show saw a well-known actor and filmmaker from the 2000s share the screen. The actor made a rude comment about his now-brother in law, Ranbir Kapoor.
When the host asked Hashmi to give Kapoor some advice, he said, “Don’t play the ladies’ man stereotype.” You don’t want it as much as the press.
That’s not the point. Emraan Hashmi said, “Lose him.” When asked to do the same for Ranbir’s then-girlfriend Katrina Kaif, he said, “Lose him.”
He wasn’t the only one to make fun of Kapoor. Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt, also called Ranbir’s 2012 hit movie “Barfi” overrated, and he suggested that the actor’s biopic be called “Ladies Man.”
Another time on the same show, a “The Mumbai Saga” actor said he would like to “steal his girlfriends.”
