Celine Dion celebrated Mother’s Day with her children on Instagram and praised all mothers for their bravery, citing the entire strength of the women in Ukraine who are struggling to make ends meet and put food on the table for their children.
René-Charles Angélil, 22, and twins Nelson and Eddy Angélil, 11, are Dion’s three sons.
“This Mother’s Day, I feel very fortunate to have the option to accompany my children, and I consider parents in Ukraine and all over the world who have lost their children… and for those moms who constantly stress over how to safeguard their children… and for those moms who devote every ounce of their energy just to provide their children,” Dion wrote in her actual article.
“These moms are really the brave ones,” she said, “and I dedicate this Mother’s Day to every one of them.” She then went on to convey her wishes for the country and its striving citizens, saying, “We supplicate that they would find a feeling of peace and solace for their families.”
The message was also written in French by the Canadian singer.
On the job front, the musician announced last week in a close-to-home Instagram video that she will be canceling the European leg of her tour, Courage, due to a few fits, according to ET Canada.
