Imam-ul Haq, a well-known cricketer, recently participated in the comedy show ‘Hasna Mana Hai.’ A female in the audience proposed the left-handed opening during the event. Imam was taken aback and began to flush on the scene.
Both the host Tabish and Imam-ul-Haq were taken aback by the unexpected proposal. The audience began applauding the girl’s bravery.
“Will you marry me?” asked the girl blatantly.
To which Haq replied bashfully
“What should I say?. You have to go ask my mom”
“I will go to anyone but please don’t say no,” the girl reiterated.
Imam-ul-Haq on his plans for marriage said;
“For now, I don’t have any plan to get married. Maybe in the next one and a half years, you will see me getting married. But, currently, my focus is on cricket”
He further responded to another marriage-related question that
“Firstly, Babar Azam will marry then I will think about it,”
Tabish took the proposal to the next level of hilarity by giving her the look.
“Is that chick blind? I’m standing right here!”
Imam is the nephew of former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, who made his international debut against Sri Lanka in an ODI in 2017. Imam has played 49 ODIs and scored 2,321 runs at an average of 53.97, while the left-hander has played 14 Tests and scored 855 runs at an average of 35.62.
He became the first Pakistani opener to hit hundreds in Test and One-Day International cricket against Australia.
The left-handed opening batsman is one of Pakistan’s all-time greats. Imam has an especially strong drive. He looks to have trust in his ability, and he had unknowingly excelled himself when he was benched for most of Pakistan’s dismal ODI trip to New Zealand.
