The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has raised the sales tax on compressed natural gas (C.N.G.) supplies to C.N.G. users.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has amended the value of compressed natural gas (C.N.G.) supplied to C.N.G. users to charge sales tax from C.N.G. stations.
The FBR published S.R.O. 587(I)/2022, which supersedes S.R.O. 39(I)/2022, dated January 8, 2022.
The FBR has notified the gas transmission and distribution businesses of the supply value to C.N.G. users to collect sales tax from C.N.G. stations.
The price of C.N.G. has been raised from Rs. 134.57 per kg to Rs. 140 per kg in Region-I, which includes Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and Potohar (Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Gujar Khan).
The price of C.N.G. has been raised from Rs. 128.11 per kg to Rs. 135 per kg in Region-II, including Sindh and Punjab but excluding Potohar.
