A UK woman has gone viral on TikTok for claiming to be homeless for over a year, sharing her journey of staying in a motel while working full-time.
Kayleigh Lindon, who says she works as a home worker, often details her daily life to her nearly 40,000 followers on the social media platform.
He says he has been placed in temporary accommodation by the local council while he looks for a permanent place to live.
In a clip with 1.4 million views, Lindon gets ready for the day as she shares how the council renews her hotel accommodation every week.
She says checkout time often comes in the middle of her work day, so she has to pack early in the morning when she leaves for work, carrying it with her, as her accommodation may not be rebooked.

“Not what I need before a really long shift today,” she lamented in the clip, which was simply captioned: “Stress.”
In a viral video about her meals, Lindon revealed that she rarely eats breakfast during the week, but treats herself to McDonald’s on Fridays.
He also consumed a cup of coffee at work, a sandwich for lunch and fish and chips for dinner that day.
He said it was a “good day to eat” and “it’s not always like that”.
“Obviously it’s Friday so I’ve eaten well this morning. I ate about three meals, but there are days when I’ll have a yogurt and that’s until 8 p.m., the night I might have a sandwich — if I’m lucky,” she shared.

In the comments, people were amazed that Lindon could work full-time and barely afford to feed herself — let alone find shelter.
“Absolutely shocking that this young woman is working and homeless,” wrote one stunned person who received over 12,000 likes on the comment. “The government must intervene and help her! He’s clearly trying hard.”
“No one should say it’s Friday so I’ve had lunch,” said another user. “I hope everything goes well for you.”
Others couldn’t understand how someone could be homeless, yet Lindon confessed to getting the nail and eyelash treatments.
One TikToker claimed she could put the cost of her eyelash extensions “in the savings for a house”.
The Post has reached out to Lindon for comment.

Lindon claims she became homeless after dropping out of college, unable to move back into her mom’s house.
She said she initially stayed with friends and boyfriends until she was finally granted accommodation by the council.
“I want to document it for my own sake because I’ll probably never go through it again — hopefully,” she explained, referring to her TikTok series about being homeless. “And try to look on the bright side of things.”

Lindon’s latest clips include her apartment hunt – and her announcement that she’s started a new job.
Her videos have reached millions of viewers, motivating young people who also face housing insecurity.
“This is so inspiring,” wrote one viewer. “I’m 18 and I live in an assisted living facility [accommodations] no job, no income and no food, I need your motivation!”.
Others share their wishes for Lindon, saying they hope he finds long-term housing soon.
