“I’m taking it too far”

If you’re hoping to see Bravo superfan Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi join the cast of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” one day — don’t hold your breath.

Andy Cohen explained why we’ll probably never see the “Jersey Shore” queen holding a diamond as they settled their apparent “feud” on Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” radio show.

The couple’s “public war” began last year when Cohen said he would not be playing Snooki on “RHONJ.”

“You were a bit sarcastic so I had to come back,” he explained.

“I said, ‘I don’t see it.’ Right. I was like, ‘I don’t see it at all.’ Never,” Cohen said of Snooki ever joining the franchise. “Now, here’s why I said it: I see you as one of the faces of MTV and the face of ‘Jersey Shore’.”

“And so for me, it’s like putting Mickey Mouse in a Bugs Bunny cartoon,” he added. “It’s very different. You know what I mean?”

The reality star said she was “not angry” at Cohen’s statement, but added that it was his tone that rubbed her the wrong way.

“I just didn’t like your little, ‘Nah, I’m good,'” she added, to which Cohen replied, “That’s where I’m taking it too far.”

The pair have since put their beef to rest, with Cohen confirming they are “no longer at war”.

Snooki previously told Page Six that she doesn’t think she can “stick” with any “Housewives” because she “hates the drama.”

“I’m horrified, because some of these girls … get into it,” she told us exclusively. “Even though I’m on a reality show, I hate drama. I like positivity and I just like to have a good time and go home. I just feel like that would be wild.”

Polizzi made her reality TV debut in 2009 with the original “Jersey Shore.”

In September 2020, Bravo was rumored to have scouted MTV as a potential Real Housewives of New Jersey.

However, Snooki immediately shut down those rumors, writing on Instagram, “I don’t know how this started, but I wasn’t asked to be a housewife. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust.
