Injury Report: Warriors vs Grizzlies Game 6

Injury Report Warriors vs Grizzlies Game 6

The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies are playing Game 6 in a circumstance that few imagined. The injury report is in, and the Warriors may be even more shorthanded than previously.

Andre Iguodala (cervical disc injury), Gary Payton II (left elbow fracture), and James Wiseman will be out for the Warriors (lower back procedure recovery). Unfortunately, Otto Porter is now classified as doubtful on the injury report due to right foot pain.

The Grizzlies will be without the same players as in previous games. Santi Aldama is out with right knee pain, Killian Tillie is recovering from a lower back operation, and Ja Morant is out with a bone bruise.

The Memphis Grizzlies have repeatedly shown that they can win without Ja Morant. If it wasn’t evident before, their 50-point thrashing of the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 should have cemented it.

The Golden State Warriors cannot afford to lose against the Memphis Grizzlies. Even if there will be a Game 7, you don’t want to give this Grizzlies squad that much confidence as they head home. Furthermore, you don’t want to risk any further potential injuries by playing another game.

On May 13, at 10:00 p.m. ET, the Warriors will meet the Grizzlies in a pivotal Game 6.
