The worldwide Box Office collections for Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ have surpassed INR1000 crore.
‘KGF: Chapter 2’ has maintained its dominance over all freshly released titles at the Box Office, as the film crossed the INR1000 crore barrier with global collections on Sunday, according to Indian trade analyst Sumit Kadel.
The Prashanth Neel-directed saga is only the fourth Indian film to cross the coveted 1000 crore milestone, following the recently released ‘RRR’ (INR1115 crore), ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion (INR1810 crore), and ‘Dangal’ (INR2024 crore), and it is the first Kannada film to do so.

According to trade analysts, the Box Office juggernaut will be able to dethrone ‘RRR’ shortly and secure a slot in the top three.
Furthermore, the Hindi version has only grossed INR350 crores, which is less than the amount of any Bollywood film produced during the pandemic in the previous two years.

The ensemble cast of the film, led by the south superstar, includes Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, and Raveena Tandon in crucial roles. Rocky, the boss of the Kolar Gold Fields, is the protagonist of the period crime thriller.
It’s worth noting that the post-credits of ‘KGF 2’ suggested a final draught of ‘KGF: Chapter 3,’ implying a sequel. “If people like KGF: Chapter 2, we might consider continuing the franchise,” Neel remarked.
