LOVE Island’s Jordan Odofin and Zara Lackenby-Brown have hit out at producers for ‘stealing’ their date on the show.
Zara left the villa single a day before her ‘dream’ arrived in the villa.
After getting into each other’s DMs since they were out, the pair started dating.
But they feel resentful that they weren’t given the chance to pursue love on the show.
Zara, 25, told the Sunday people: “These [the producers] Jordan knew he was my guy before I even walked in.
“I left the villa thinking the man of my dreams doesn’t exist and days after Jordan arrived. I understand they have stories to follow, but I deserved to find love.”
Jordan, 28, had hoped to pair up with Zara but was distracted when he arrived at the villa to find she had been dumped.
“Before I went in, they asked me my top three and I said Zara was my number one,” she said.
“So of course I was looking for her. It made my villa experience very different – I was in a friendship couple the whole time.”
They went for a romantic meal in Soho this week and are already planning a mini golf and drinks date soon.
Zara was one of the show’s favorites after she came in and bombarded co-star Tom Clare with his previous love Olivia Hawkins.
The blocking caused ongoing animosity between her and Olivia, with the pair clashing throughout the show.
Although Zara had landed her man, their romance didn’t last long, with Tom declaring his feelings for Olivia and locking lips with newbie Ellie Spence.
Zara was dumped after ex Tom chose Ellie over her at the reunion, just one day after the pair had a nasty row over Tom dating the blonde.
In their heated exchange, Zara was heard implying that his parents would not be proud of his behavior in the villa.
