Priscilla Presley has opened up about the “difficult time” she and her loved ones have gone through following the sudden death of her only child, Lisa Marie Presley.

Taking to Twitter, Priscilla thanked fans for their unwavering support since news of her daughter’s death broke.

“Thank you all for your condolences, you touched me with your words” he tweeted Monday night.
“It was a very difficult time, but knowing that your love is out there makes all the difference.”
Her tweet came hours after her emotional speech at Lisa Marie’s memorial service at Graceland on Sunday.

Reading aloud in front of the mourners, Priscilla’s lyrics began: “In 1968 she entered our world / She was born tired, fragile, but strong / She was delicate but full of life.
“She always knew she wouldn’t be here for long / Childhood goes by with a look in her green eye / Then she made a family of her own.”
The poem later touched on the death of Lisa Marie’s son Benjamin by suicide in 2020, writing: “Then came her second child that leaves her with suspicion / Can this be the angel that takes me home?”

Lisa Marie shared daughter Riley, 33, and late son Benjamin with Danny Q. She was married to Keough from 1988 to 1994.
The late singer shared her 14-year-old twins, Finley and Harper, with ex-husband Michael Lockwood. The couple were married for a decade after their 2006 wedding.

On Sunday, Lisa Marie was laid to rest next to Benjamin in the Meditation Garden at her father Elvis Presley’s Tennessee estate, which is now owned by Lisa Marie’s three daughters.
