As Stranger Things draws to a close, Millie Bobby Brown teases what’s to come for fans.
On Friday, the actress who portrays Eleven in the hit Netflix series appeared on The Tonight Show. During the interview, she and presenter Jimmy Fallon addressed what fans may expect when the first volume of the show’s fourth season premieres on May 27.
“The important aspect, and the tagline of this plot,” said Brown, 18, “is it’s the beginning of the end.” “We need to delve deep into [Eleven’s] beginnings and how she formed who she is with the people around her and how she gained autonomy and became this lady on her own.” So this season’s plot delves into it.”
When asked if viewers might expect answers to the show’s ongoing riddles, Fallon responded, “Definitely plenty of answers – lots of crying, lots of laughter.”
During the interview, Enola Holmes referred to Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp as “the greatest joker of them all,” recalling how she and the show’s team gave him a taste of his own medicine.
Brown is a key player on the show, which was renewed for a fifth and final season earlier this year. Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Finn Wolfhard are among the ensemble cast members.
Stranger Things season four premieres on Netflix on May 27.
