Tuba Anwar started her career behind the camera dabbling in programming and content. Her marriage to the late politician and televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain was what brought her to the limelight. She was on every show with her husband and people got to know her better and better. Tuba Anwar stopped working after her marriage and we also usually saw her with her husband during his Ramadan broadcasts.
Tuba started her acting career after her divorce from Aamir Liaquat and since then we have seen her in dramas like Bharas and Bichoo. She is working on establishing herself and polishing her craft. Though she remained silent about her relationship with her ex-husband after their divorce, she has now spoken out about what it was like to be married to one of the most famous people in Pakistan.
Tuba said she had to go through an identity crisis after marrying Aamir Liaquat. She said that in such marriages people start to refer you to the famous person’s wife and not mention who you are as a person. She said she was usually referred to as Aamir Liaquat’s wife and not Tuba as a separate person and she was losing her identity.
