A woman died in a house fire in Brooklyn late Wednesday, authorities said.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was found dead inside the three-story residence on Montauk Avenue near Dumont Avenue in East New York, where a fire broke out shortly after 8 p.m., police and fire officials said.


Twelve FDNY units responded, bringing 60 firefighters and EMS workers to the scene.
The fire was brought under control around 20:40

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
